The top has internal pockets to allow for D3O. impact protection pads in the shoulders, elbows and forearms. D3O. is flexible but hardens on impact, absorbing the shock.

The fabric also offers UPF50 sun protection and is fast drying so you can wear this standalone or layered under your wetsuit or smock.
