Mistral’s universal inflatable SUP kayak seat offers new levels of comfort and added bio-mechanical advantages over conventional fabric seats. Take advantage of deck D-ring clips, fitted to most of our inflatable paddle boards and any generic brand, allowing you to connect this sit-down SUP kayak seat to extend your paddling time, distance travelled and the conditions you can paddle in, adding value and versatility.
Originally considered a novelty, sitting and paddling with a kayak paddle on your SUP board is not only a great way to add versatility to your board, but also an absolute requirement for many stand-up paddlers with knee or balance issues, allowing them to enjoy water time and the benefits of seated paddling on their paddleboard.
Our inflatable SUP kayak seat provides 6 inches of lift, keeping your feet below the level of your seat and offering a bio-mechanical advantage from which to apply greater force to the paddle in comfort. By utilising an inflatable PVC material, the seat does not absorb water like canvas foam-filled designs, and air dries quickly, or it can be wiped down dry before packing it into the bag.
Non-corrosive polycarbonate clips and adjustable webbing make up the lightweight, universal attachment system. Fit to any SUP with deck-mounted D-rings for kayak seat attachment. The inflatable SUP kayak seat inflates using a regular SUP pump. Inflate to varying levels of psi to meet your comfort needs relative to your body weight.
