Marlow D2 Club Rope – Dyneema® SK75 / Polypropelene Core

D2 Club has been developed to provide an upgrade to polyester sheets and halyards offering the benefit of reduced weight and reduced elongation thanks to the light weight Dyneema® SK75 blended core. Due to the ropes equivalent strength and diameter to typical polyester braids, it can be simply substituted without the complexity and expense of having to modify or change deck equipment like clutches and winches. The coated core provides extra durability and ease for splicing.

CORE MATERIAL: Dyneema® SK75 and Polypropylene coated core (ArmourCoat) – 12 strand

COVER MATERIAL: Polyester – 16 plait

TESTING METHOD:
Apply check load according to BS EN ISO 2307
Measure sample length and weight G/M according to BS EN ISO 2307
Measure rope pitch according to BS EN ISO 2307
Break in tensile testing machine (wedge grips)

Average Break Load:

8mm – 2260 KG (Minimum 2034 KG)

10mm – 3820 KG (Minimum 3440 KG)

12mm – 4790 KG (Minimum 4311 KG)
