The Dometic CU55 & VD07 Cooling Kit Box allows you to convert a locker or coolbox into a fridge by installing this DIY cooling kit.
The kit consists of a compressor and an “O” shaped cooling plate, suitable for a coolbox volume of 100 litres max and a thermostat switch.

The Danfoss compressor features integrated low voltage protection, low voltage cut-out, and a stainless steel mounting plate. It has self-sealing valve couplings and is air cooled.

CU-55 Compressor is an Entry-level unit for small refrigeration capacities and for use in cool waters. Features Include:

  • Cooling capacities: 130 litres max. for normal refrigeration with direct evaporators, 100 litres max. with cold accumulators
  • Voltage: 12/24 volts DC
  • Power input: approx. 35 or 40 watts, depending on the evaporator type
